Karina Fabian is a student at New York City College of Technology majoring in Hospitality Management. My dream is work for a very successful company where I can develop my career and become closer to my goals of becoming a banquet & event manager. Therefore, I hopes to one day own a Catering & events company.
In love about the hospitality industry and its possibilities, in the spring of 2013 I took steps in making my dreams become a reality by engaged in the opportunity of joining the Disney College Program Internship at the Walt Disney World ®Resorts where I gained the experience as a Housekeeper at Pop Century Resort the biggest resort in the United States and lived the most amazing experience of my life by being part of the hospitality industry creating magic every day. However, later on I was also part of the food and Beverage at one of the heavily populated Quick service restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park.
During this Fantastic Experience I learned the importance of an effective guest service by always going above and beyond, team work, time management, responsibility, professionalism, product knowledge, organization but the most important thing, I learned how to create unforgettable moment for our guest’s experience and I know those strengths and skills that will be take me to achieve my goals.
