Dental Assistant at Spencer Lew DDS     August 2013 – August 2017

I worked in a general dental practice. My duties included these following tasks:

• Prepared patient for dental treatment by welcoming, seating and draping them.
• Assist the dentist with all dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges and root canal treatment.
• Prepared treatment room for patient by complying with all procedures, rules and regulations.
• Sterilized and delivered instruments by following infection control and prevention protocols.
• Educate patients by giving oral home care and postoperative instructions.
• Performed a diagnostic radiograph.
• Assist the dentist/dental hygienist with documenting dental and periodontal charting.
• Performed impressions, pouring, trimming and polishing study models of the patient.
