Individual Strengths

Powering through the nursing program has provided me with significant time to become a competent and compassionate RN. It has also given me the opportunity to pronounce myself as a leader, both in the academic and professional setting.

Although I commend myself on my collaborative skills, I am equally proud of my ability to work as an individual. Teamwork is very important to me but I also believe that one should be capable of standing strong behind their own judgement, and remain confident that their decisions are best.

I am a strong minded individual which lends itself to my leadership skills. When a task is at hand I am always ready to grab hold of it and delegate to those around me, leading the team to success. Prioritizing tasks and critical thinking are also skills that I am proud of and have sharpened as a RN.
