Summarizing the poem/play: In “The Midnight Summer Dream” written by William Shakespeare conveys a message of a transformation of change and power. Hermia, a royalty figure is forced to choose to marry Demetrius against her wishes that her father, Egeus chosen for her or to be executed. Under the pressure from Egeus, father of Hermia, she decided to run away with her lover, Lysander who was in love with her in a forest in which it governs magic unlike the city of Athens. Once, Pluck who is a fairy that following order from the king, Oberon and use magic on Lysander by accident and it caused him to loses his love he had for Hermia. As Puck’s spell remains in contact so does the contradiction of their love they had with one of another.
