What I have always wanted to do in college was to record a live band in a studio setting and film the performance. Music has been a tremendous part of my life and it is something I see myself working with, whether it would be actually performing or working with bands in a studio and concert setting. For my culmination project, I filmed and recorded the band Open the Nile performing a song in a studio, as well as mixing the audio and editing the footage into a video.
Acting as the mixing engineer, director, cameraman and editor of this project, my culmination would give me experience to do this kind of work for my band and other artists. This video will be used by the band to promote their new single off their upcoming release “Meridian”.
