Project Budget: Estimate vs. Actual
I estimated this project to cost me $1,000, here is the actual cost:
- Estimate- Studio rental for the day = $450/Actual- $600
- Estimate- Steadicam Stabilizer = $300/Actual- Feiyu Tech AK2000 = $424.59
- Estimate- Assistants = $100/Actual- $60
- Estimate- Avid Media Composer = $0/Actual- $30 ($10 a month x 3)**
- Total: $1,114.59
The cameras, tripods, lighting fixtures and recording equipment will be provided at no extra cost.
**In order to get more work done with video editing, I had to purchase the software so I was able to work at my studio at any time rather relying on the lab hours at Voorhees.
