January 2014: Oral Presentation given by me for my Oral Histology & Embryology class on Di-laceration, Accessory roots, & enamel pearls
May 2014′ Presented at City Tech’s Health and Wellness Fair. Discussed about coenzyme q10, formulated a poster board and handouts for my audience.
Community Services
Head Start Field Trip. Educating 3-6 years old on how to brush and floss. Counseling them on nutritional foods that are good for their teeth. And applying Varnish.
Service Group Project– Herrick High School. To discuss, demonstrate and educate the students as well as their teachers on proper and effective home care (brushing, flossing and rinsing). Additionally, we wanted to establish a clear understanding of the difference between good oral hygiene and the consequences of bad oral hygiene. We also wanted to explain to the students how to understand and describe dental pain for students with developmental disabilities such as autism to down syndrome and a student who was deaf.
