This is a male patient who is 56 years old that presented with type II localized type III periodontal disease. I determined that this patient would be a good candidate for Arestin due to their pocket depths, I debrided all 4 quadrants an proceeded to place Arestin to 8 sites and waited 4 weeks to reevaluate the pocket depths. The pocket depths decreased by 2-3 mm on all 8 sites. This was a true achievement for the patient and I. Knowing that my determination to place arestin improved this males oral health makes me happy to help people in need.

A true achievement that I accomplished was the fluoride varnish program at head start pre- K. Preventing the formation and or progression of early childhood caries to unprivileged children was an amazing experience.
