Part 2

My definition of Value is

What we as humans believe in and how much power we invest in it. Examples include morals/ethics, laws, how we present ourselves, money, and religion. The everyday usage of value is if something means a lot to you value is the word that has been used.

Part 3:

“A man’s value to the community primarily depends on how far his feelings, thoughts, and actions are directed towards promoting the good of his fellow.” Albert Einstein As such, is the LGBTQ+ community. The LGBTQ+community is a place where anyone can be themselves, and positivity is the key. Our value of what we believe in is empathy and acceptance. We as people who are part of the LGBTQ+ know from the start that we were born different, but that does not mean we must treat one another differently. We are all humans deep down. Some people still make us fight for a love that is free for everyone. Not only is it a loving community, but it is also inclusive. The term LGBTQ+ is like an umbrella that, in a way, has its own belief just like any other community would have.

To reinstate the word “Value” and what it means to me is the fundamental core morality, and how much power we invest in the mindset of doing what is right by our actions. Ethics, how we treat one another, how we represent ourselves, money, and religion is examples of values. The amount that the LGBTQ+ community upholds that resonates with me is self-identity and knowing your worth. It sounds corny, but that is what it means to me, and to be part of that community to uphold its core value. I will try my best to defend this community by the actions I take. As someone who has seen people get thrown out of their own family. Just for being who they are, I know that within this community that they well cared for. They will find resources to help this person out. I can say for sure that this will happen because I, too, have been in that place; it’s an ugly place to be in. It’s Life-changing being part of this community because this community values “you.” After all, no one ever wants to feel left out, and no one wants to be abandoned. The amount of something is also based on the everyday object like money, food and etc. And as Albert Einstein only out it, “A man’s value to the community primarily depends on how far his feelings, thoughts, and actions are directed towards the good of his fellow.”

In conclusion, what value means to me is genuinely to be the best that I would be capable of. Many parts of this community is like a home that I never had. The amount of support shown by one another, True we have our ups and downs but overall the love, and appreciation is there. Many trials had to be faced to get to where we are today, and even then, we have problems within our community that must change. We are all humans, and we will continue to work on this to better us and the whole community. However, I appreciate and value the home I never had. The actions to get us where we are today makes it possible for me to asses every facet of myself.
