We started discussing the concept of cart/stroller. Could you summarize your ideas (eg. what kind of sensor we need or how the system works etc)?
-Motor system to make the wheel more on its own.
-Steering system so the wheel could turn while its moving
-Some sort of sensor to detect its surrounding.
-Keep the stroller somewhat light so that if anything happen we can manual push it
-GPS to know where it is going and we know where it is at
-Waterproof so that when its rain, the stroller wont get wet.
-Something to keep the stroller cool/warm when its a hot/cold day
-Need something to make it go up the stairs. MAYBE a transformer wheel
– Redesign the stroller to be have multi-purpose functionality.
– Automate and motorize front wheel
– Front wheel attachment becoming the main project
– Mount battery and motor, possible add shell or casing to hide the components
the front wheel needs a motor. preferably electric and able to be rechargeable
a stronger heavy duty base to support more weight
collision and proximity sensors to avoid injuring near by people
re-balance the center of gravity by moving big wheels back
GPS capability for easy location
camera to record and recognize surroundings
I think it would be more useful as a cart instead of a stroller. As a cart, it can be used to pull and carry many heavy objects that require a lot of man power. The cart can be used as an extra carrier for postal workers around the U.S while requiring no effort or change to a postal workers daily routine. It can also be used to assist construction workers when carrying heavy supplies or tools on a construction site.

Throughout the discussion, the concepts of developing stages of construction is very important as well as adding additional functions. Many classmates have interesting ideas such as adding different sensors like GPS and collision detection, however, there is one classmate who preferred on focusing adding motors onto the front wheel as an priority. This is very important point throughout the whole discussion since groups have to set up stages for the project and he is convincing it at the same time.
Collision avoidance system should be applied within the cart. Nowadays, subway and railroad systems are using such system to detect if there are vehicles/people in front of them. Same ideas should be applied due to the operating area is in the middle of NYC, where many people are moving at a fast rate

-The stroller should be able to stay in front of the user seamlessly synchronized with their movement without assistance or physical contact. (Motion sensor)
-Automate the front wheel
-A GPS
-Light signals
-A stronger base
-Motorize front wheel
-add steering
-add sensors for navigation
-keep in mind marketing
– what is its use in the real world.
-back up control/ or phone control.
-camera/speaker/microphone
