This is a canva slideshow with a voiceover and edpuzzle. I decided on using edpuzzle rather than the h5p tools because of the option for open-ended questions.
The OpenLab is an open-source, digital platform designed to support teaching and learning at City Tech (New York City College of Technology), and to promote student and faculty engagement in the intellectual and social life of the college community.
I like the use of open-ended questions and free-text responses that encourage students to reflect on what they’ve just learned and consider what they will add when it’s their turn to do primary research. This is my first Edpuzzle experience and a very positive one, so thank you for that! The captioning is impeccable, too.
I enjoyed your voice and speaking — very straight-forward, friendly, and encouraging. Also the notes were a great feature. Maybe an idea for the future: to end this one around 20 mins in, and then start a new one about “How to Use Primary Research”? You could go into packaging data and other topics more.
