City Tech as an HSI
City Tech’s mission statement speaks to our commitment to equity: “As a community City Tech nurtures an atmosphere of inclusion, respect, and open-mindedness in which all members can flourish.” That commitment is of particular significance given the diversity of our college: 29% of students self-identify as Black, 34% as Hispanic, 20% as Asian, and 10% as white.
The position paper which is linked to below was developed by a group of Hispanic faculty members. It examines the current situation at the college for Latinx students, faculty, and staff and makes recommendations for the college community.
