For the Concierge Marketing Assignment I have selected the Statue of Liberty. It was a gift that France gave to the United States on October 28, 1886. Lady Liberty is known as “The Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World” and it is significant to New York because it symbolizes freedom and democracy, principles New Yorkers proudly carry in their culture. The  Statue of Liberty was declared a National Monument on 1924 and remains a popular historical attraction amongst tourist from all over the world. The 12 colossal copper statue offers visitors access to the statue’s pedestal observation deck a, museum, and Ellis Island. Visitors must take a ferry to Liberty Island and it takes 354 steps to reach the crown.

The site I chose as a tourist attraction is the 911 memorial.
This site is significant to not only us but to the United States. Many people such as citizens , workers and more importantly fire fighters died and risked their lives trying to save people from the rubble and catastrophe caused from the collapsed twin towers. This memorial is not only a tourist attraction, it’s also a way for us to remember our history.

I have selected Central Park for NYC tourist attraction. This site is significant to the culture of New York because it is one of the first public parks built in America with recreational facilities abounding.  As located in the center of bustling Manhattan, its ground serves as a safe haven not only to athletes, strollers, daydreamers, and musicians but also for teems of migratory birds each year. This is the spot where one can skate, row, padel, dribble or climb to his or her heart’s delight.

I have chosen The  Frick Collection. https://www.frick.org/about/history. This is significant to New York because the mansion was built by Henry Clay Frick. The author considers this a tourist attraction because of its displays of his industrialists, are masterpieces of Western painting, sculpture, and decorative art.  That it represents the art of someone and his passion for it
