FINAL PROJECT
To complete the Multimedia Production for this semester, your final project consists of creating a short video for one of your favorite songs of the artist you have created a website.
Guidelines:
– Your movie should be no more than 3 minutes – you may think is too little, but it is plenty when it comes to editing and doing the actual work.
– You cannot use dialog in your movie.
– Though you can use people to evoke the feelings of the song, they cannot be engaged in dialogue.
1. Select the song.
2. Sketch some ideas for your movie (think of images more than actual acting. For example, recording the sky with clouds to evoke calmness or leaves to represent a change of season, etc. Be creative.
3. Use your cellphone and record your video clips in Horzintal Format (NOT vertical or portrait).
4. You should aim to have at least 10 clips of 1 min to 1:30 no more. That way you will have more material to create your final video.
5. Create a folder in your desktop and download all your movie clips there.
ADOBE PREMIERE:
1. After opening Premiere, make sure you select your scratch disk.
2. Import your assets (video clips) that you recorded.
3. Create and Edit your video using the Timeline.
4. When you are ready to save, save your work in the same folder of all the assets. Save it as Adobe Premiere.
5. Use a title at the beginning (the name of the song and the singer) and closing credits at the end.

6. Save your work and export the MP4 movie file.
7. Include your movie in your Music Website. You may have to create another page (create a folder called video and place your video file there)

– In the message box, type the name of your favorite musician in CAPS and BOLD.
– INSERT a picture for your selected artist (800 pixels wide)
– Write a short introduction below the picture.
– Type: DOWNLOAD SITE and link it to the Local Root Folder in your Gloogle Drive your video (MP4 Format) should be in a folder called video.

Your music site should be finished. Include the following:
– 5 Music Samples edited to 1 min with Fade In and Fade Out
– Music or sound html page should include the music samples and have the animated gif banner.

Create a frame by frame animated banner in Photoshop.
– 1920 pixels width x 300 pixels height for the web.

You can create an animated video for a song you like to feature or your favorite song from the artist you selected.
– Size 1920 x 1080 pixels for the screen. You can adjust the size (don’t make it too small) with the code.

Follow this guidelines:
SKETCH
– Think of your favorite sport. You will be creating a 5 page Mini Website
– Using your sketchbook, decide what type of information you’d like to have for your website, write down the names of the 4 pages for your website.
PHOTOSHOP
– Outsource the photos for your website, and save them in a folder called Master Files.
– Each page should have 2 images
– You have to use Photoshop to work with the photos and have them ready for web and size: 700 pixels width, the height can vary.
– Create a folder and name it with your first name followed by the sports site. Example: Joe Tennis Site
– In Photoshop, you should save and name your images with your name-name of the sport-(your page section)-(number of the image). Example: joe-tennis-about-01.jpg
HTML EDITOR (Use Atom or Any other HTML Editor App)
Following My Example to create the pages. ALL pages should link.
– Create the landing page. It should include a header (H1) with the name of the Sport, and the <UL> tag list at the top. This page should be called index.html
– Create the other pages. each page should include information (text) and a couple of images.

You don’t need to post anything, but you have to be prepared to share your screen and show your work.

– Take a selfie of yourself (portrait of yourself)
– Come up with one liner message for PEACE.
Note: you can think about what is happening right now in the Ukranie.
– Create a POSTER with your photograph.
– 8.5 x 11 inches, 300 dpi, CMYK (print), 1 inch margins all around.
– Use the one line message about peace in your poster.
Note: You have to determine where to place your message, the type of font, the color font and the style.
– Think of mood, colors, text (size, type, hierarchy)

– The JPG image should be 72 dpi, 6 inches width x 4.636 inches height

- Read: Multimedia Foundations (MF): Introduction and Chapter 1 (pg 3-37).
- Update your profile in Openlab with a headshot (selfie) and a short bio about yourself. The bio could include a little about yourself: place of birth, nationality, ethnic background, where you live, your hobbies, etc., as well as professional information: your career goals, future plans, your interests. You can also add your expectations for the class, and what you’d like to create as a project in the future.
