The original Sonic the Hedgehog was released back in 1991 for the Sega Genesis console. The games is about an anthropomorphic hedgehog named Sonic who possess the ability of super-speed and is on a quest to stop an evil scientist by the name of Dr. Eggman, who plans on collecting six magical gems called the “Chaos Emeralds” to take over the world.
