A Trip to the Musuem

Christopher Winter
Huxleyā€™s Guide to Switzerland, 2011

Blue is a primary color and is the color of the ocean and sky. The Color blue is often used to symbolize trust, calmness, tranquility, serenity, inspiration, or wisdom. Blue is known to be a very popular color and shows loyalty, integrity, and confidence. Christopher Winter artwork called ā€œHuxleyā€™s Guide to Switzerlandā€ which was made 2011 shows a lot of representation towards this color. In his painting he shows two characters a boy and a girl floating in space above the lake in Switzerland. The boy and girl lookā€™s so calm and they seem to be at peace with the environment that is surrounding them.

Bettina WitteVeen
Buddha Mind. 2019

Another piece of artwork that shows representation or symbolism towards the color blue is the “Buddha Mind.” This artwork was created by Bettina WitteVeen in 2019. From what I can recall the Buddha statue symbolizes different things. These symbolic references are similar to the color blue. For example, when it comes to meditation the buddha statues symbolizes stability, inner peace and tranquility. Just like the color blue, Buddha also represents wisdom and understanding.
