My name is Harry Chen. I am currently enrolled in Communication Design at New York City College of Technology. I was at first a computer science major but disliked coding and found it boring. I wanted to be more creative and artistic while working digitally. That’s when I found communication design and took a couple courses of it and loved it since. While studying communication design, I discovered there were many fields you can get into besides just creating graphic work like web design, UX design, typography, etc. I hope to be able to explore and learn about all these different fields and see what interests me the most.
Some of my hobbies include drawing, and gaming. Ever since I was young and was introduced to computer games, I fell in love with them and wanted to have a job related to computers when I grew up. I have played a variety of games growing up and I admire games that have a nice interface and a good design. In the future I hope I will be able to gain the knowledge and skills to design a game someday.
