The term Hunger has various definitions, and each individual defines it differently. Hunger, on the other hand, is regarded as painful since it is characterized by a lack of some or all of the nutrients required to sustain an individualā€™s health. When we hear the word hunger, we think of people who donā€™t have enough food to eat or water to drink, but this word represents more than that. We all know that people who donā€™t have food are called hungry people, but what most of us donā€™t realize is that people who are in this food crisis or food insecurity donā€™t know how long they have been without any kind of food.and they have no idea where they will acquire their meals. Globally, 790-811 million people are hungry, according to the UN-FAO. That means that one out of every ten people on the planet is food insecure. This statistic is increasing at an annual rate of 8.9 percent. And it isnā€™t just about people going to bed hungry every day because there isnā€™t enough food to eat; hunger kills. According to the FAO, up to 25,000 people die as a result of malnutrition every day. Because protein-energy malnutrition, defined as a deficiency of protein combined with an energy-giving diet, is the most common cause of hunger, Although hunger affects individuals of all ages, tiny children are typically the most vulnerable victims. The state caused by hunger and malnutrition is referred to as under nutrition. It increases disease burden to the point that undernourished children suffer from illnesses for at least five months out of the year since the condition lowers their immunity. The main source of this problem is not a shortage of food production; according to ā€œThe Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations,ā€ the world produces enough food to feed everyone on the planet. So, why is there still an issue with world hunger?
