When you squander food for no obvious reason or throw leftovers away. Have you ever thought that there are millions of people throughout the world that crave for your leftovers or foods that you eventually discard? Every day, 811 million people go to bed hungry, meaning that one in every ten people on the planet is hungry, a statistic that is rising by the day. The earth produces enough food to feed the whole world’s population. And, if you’re wondering why there’s still so much hunger in the world, despite global food production being more than enough to feed everyone, consider this: A number of causes have contributed to the current hunger crisis.
