I really enjoyed his style of writing. It has a lot of personality to it. Plus I can relate to the superstition in Hispanic/Latino family, so I personally found the reading interesting. although I do speak Spanish, I found myself googling translations a couple times. Conspiracy theories are a fun rabbit hole to go down into but I don’t know much about Kennedy’s death. I think that made it hard to follow towards the end. He made references that went over my head I think. I also don’t know much about the history of the Dominican Republic either. The main thing I was confused about was who some of the people he mentioned. the author mentions an Oscar. Is he a fictional person? is this a biography? I want to read more. I want to hear about the authors fuku.
