    It looks like this discussion format doesn’t allow mathematical symbols. I will investigate this.

    Problem: int ( 1/sqrt(2x+3) dx
    Why not substitute u = 2x+3? so du = 2dx

    Re-write: int ( 1/2 du/sqrt(u) ) = 1/2 int (u^(-1/2) du = 1/2 ( u^(1/2) / (1/2) = u^(1/2) = (2x+3)^(1/2) +C

    I want to try the Latex code:
    [latexpage]
    $ \int 1/\sqrt(2x+3) dx $

    Try going to the Course Site. Perhaps we can use better math code.
