In the article “Family Rights” it states the the way in which cities in the United States and the country itself laws protect families. I.E the article touched on parents rights to access to their children educational records as well as a woman right to terminate a pregnancy if that was her wishes. The article also spoke about same sex marriages and laws that were passed to recognize and protect same sex couples/ families. For example, same sex families had rights to properties without a will and spousal benefits from their significant other employment.
