"Rear Window" short story quiz (15-20 minutes)

• Describe everything you know about the main character’s helper, his assistant: include his (a) name,  (b) race,

(c) approximate age.  

• Who was the murder victim?

   

• Why did witnesses claim they saw the victim alive, in another location?

   

• Where was the dead person hidden?

   

• Why was the hero’s POV (point of view), his range of vision, limited?

   

• How did the main character avoid getting shot? (Be specific.)

   

• Why were the neighbors keeping their windows open?
