I believe this lady was basically paying attention to detail. There wasn’t much going on in her life at this point. She needed something to do to kill time. She was an elderly women living in a nursery where she made it known she was out of her own comfort zone. The Nursery was described in her own words as atrocious although the care she was in by the physician was greatly appreciated. As she spent her time in this place the details of this Nursery started to stand out a little more as days went on. She starts off describing the details of place she is situated in. A place in which it is questioned why no one wanted to live in it. A mansion where it is quite some distance from a village. With her life slowing down due to her state of condition she has a vision on this place where she notices a lot about the location and structure of this mansion. She happened to pay attention a lot to the walls where she notices a lot of details. The old but standing structure is needed of some maintenance and from her point of view the walls aren’t as appealing to her as they should be. As the time goes on she writes on her journey in this she lives in. Her nervousness where she is in this room stands to be an issue where she wishes to be some where more alive this might help her better with her inner self. It would help relieve the thought of her condition a little more. The couple of weeks she has spent at this place really got her insight active. She dwells so much on the walls and how she feels the time spent outside a she takes walks is not enough to escape this room. As the staff described this room was good for her health it wasn’t enough for. She felt as if the walls kept closing in on her. As the days went on she started seeing the walls start to shake. This was pleasant for her as she so desperately wanted to be somewhere else. She was felt so much better as the end of her time was up as if she was in a jail locked down. Even though the relief of being out the room was of help
so basically it was about a women’s mental health while she is on a rest cure on a rented summer country estate with her family
