    Original—Bloom by Anna Voelker

    I want to tell you
    about the sunflower I found
    on the sidewalk yesterday.
It is wilting and curled and gorgeous
    and knows it.
I want to age like that,
    never forgetting my own beauty,
never forgetting how to say bloom.

Original poem with my own find poem

    I want to tell you
-you can hear what I want
    about the sunflower I found
    – I got the light with shine
    on the sidewalk yesterday.
    – everywhere I went
It is wilting and curled and gorgeous
    – difficult path but incredible perception
    and knows it.
-which supposed to be like that
I want to age like that,
-I don’t want to forget my path
    never forgetting my own beauty,
-will spend my life with my dream
never forgetting how to say bloom.
    – won’t give up with the scheme

    Find poem

you can hear what I want
I got the light with shine
    everywhere I went
    difficult path but incredible perception
which supposed to be like that

Original “kamin” by Emin & JONY

In the fireplace at six in the morning
    Your photo
    Memories are burning
    About you
By the fireplace at six in the morning
    Broken soul
    And all your promises
    Emptiness

    My “found” poem

I sit and reminisce about the past
I hold your photo so close near my heart
    They’re burning with the flames
All I think about is you
I remember the great times we had
    Shattered to pieces
You told me you wouldn’t leave me
Now all I feel is emptiness

Still I Rise Lyrics: Artist -Yolanda Adams.

    Yet still I rise
    Never to give up
Never to give in against all odds
    Yet still I rise
    High above the clouds
    At times I feel low
    Yet still I rise
    Above all my problems

Revised Version with my own Lines

    Yet still I rise
Like the sun on the horizon
    Never to give up
    I am Determined to win
Never to give in against all odds
    Facing all my fears
    Yet still I rise
I must Arise from my slumber and not give in
    High above the clouds
    To tower over my obstacles
    At times I feel low
    Defeat stares at me sometimes
    Yet still I rise
But I must persevere with enthusiasm
God is bigger than my problems
To soar like an eagle and stand tall

Kathy’s Version of Still I Rise
Like the sun on the horizon
    I am determined to win
    Facing all my fears
I must arise from my slumber and not give in!
    To tower over my obstacles
    Defeat stares at me sometimes
But I must persevere with enthusiasm
To soar like an eagle and stand tall!

This Song has been my inspiration when I am facing trials. Challenges come to test our character and inspire us to be our best self. With that being said, I refuse to accept depeat but will endevour to conquer my fears.

Fields of Hope by Tanaka Rie (English translation)

    Beneath a veil so cold,
    You deeply sleep, all alone
The melody of prayer; on the lonely fields,
    a little light shined

    I watched as you dreamed
    You laughed like a child
So dear, and yet so far –
That is the promise of our future

    My Found Poem

Deep down it was always cold,
    Always sleeping by myself
A beautiful song is what awakens me,
Like a light to guide me

    I dream every day,
    Always feeling I’m a child
    So close but far,
Willing to be there in the future

Original lyrics: Tribe Called Quest – Can I Kick It?

Can I kick it? To all the people who can Quest like A Tribe does
Before this, did you really know what live was?
Comprehend to the track, for it’s why cuz
Gettin measures on the tip of the vibers
Rock and roll to the beat of the funk fuzz
Wipe your feet really good on the rhythm rug
If you feel the urge to freak, do the jitterbug
Come and spread your arms if you really need a hug

    Found Poem:

Kickin it is how we deal with things
Before then, did you really know what stress was?
It will help you conquer and survive
It’s a good estimate to get what you need.
Swim through the riptides of life
Wash your hands at all times
If you still feel dirty, use some hand sanitizers
Stay inside if you really need too

I’m a little used to calling outside your name
-Im not used to calling you by your name

I get some kinda lazy day
    -im having a lazy day
I’ve been fabulous through to fight my town a name
-i have been doing my best to earn a name for my town

-i will be sad if they arent the same as my name
    But i don’t know enough
    -But i dont know much
I get some kinda lazy day
    -im having a lazy day
