TEARS, from Health (Max Payne 3 soundtrack)

    (Original lyrics)

    Trust us now
It’s time to let me go
    Give up on us
    Follow what you want
    Trust us now
It’s time to let me go
    Give up
    Give us over

(Original Lyrics with my own find poem)

    Trust us now

    -Are you listening?

It’s time to let me go

-Why are you following this path?

    Give up on us

    -Why can’t you move on?

    Follow what you want

    -Just live your life

    Trust us now

    -It’s what we would’ve wanted

It’s time to let me go

    -It’s not your fault

    Give up

    -So please

    Give us over

    -Just stop.

(My “found” poem) – For Us.

    Are you listening?
Why are you following this path?
    Why can’t you move on?
    Just live your life
    It’s what we would’ve wanted
    It’s not your fault
    So please
    Just stop.

(My New Found Poem) – Breaking Free
For the same reason, the moon never disappears

Its as if I feel everyone staring at me watching my every move

That meaning of anxiety that I struggle from day by day

But I rather run away from this feeling

I would have never imagined this would be a struggle to fight within the near future

Some told me that everything would be okay

Constantly finding solutions to my madness

Now I am starting to see a side of myself that I thought I would never see and for that I am hopeful

Original Song With My Poem- (They Long To Be) Close To You By -The Carpenters
Why do stars fall down from the sky
-For the same reason, the moon never disappears

    Every time you walk by
-Its as if I feel everyone staring at me watching my every move

Just like me, they long to be
-That meaning of anxiety that I struggle from day by day

    Close to you
-But I rather run away from this feeling

One the day that you were born
-I would have never imagined this would be a struggle to fight within the near future

    The angels got together
-Some told me that everything would be okay

And decided to create a dream come true
-Constantly finding solutions to my madness

So they sprinkled moon dust in your hair
-Now I am starting to see a side of myself that I thought I would never see and for that I am hopeful

Original Song (They Long To Be) Close To you
Why do stars fall down from the sky

    Every time you walk by

Just like me, they long to be

    Close to you

One the day that you were born

    The angels got together

(Don’t go back to sleep) – Rumi

    ORIGINAL POEM:
The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you
    Don’t go back to sleep
you must ask for what you really want
    Don’t go back to sleep
people are going back and forth across the doorsill where the two worlds touch
The door is round and open
    Don’t go back to sleep

ORIGINAL POEM WITH MY OWN FIND POEM:
The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you
    – Tell me, for I have been waiting and watching
    Don’t go back to sleep
-Now is the time for me to hear and to see
You must ask for what you really want
    – I want to be saved
    Don’t go back to sleep
    – If I sleep, I will be forever lost in the deep
People are going back and forth across the doorsill where the two worlds touch
    – Make your decision now before it is too late!
The door is round and open
    – I see the light, now I’m certain
    Don’t go back to sleep
    – How can I, When I have found peace!

    Large Cities -Sudie Nostrand
    ORIGINAL POEM:
    In Large Cities
    It’s hard to see stars.

    A fountain spreads
    like a white flower

    around us.
    above the shifting traffic

    illuminated doorways
    there are stars

ORIGINAL POEM WITH MY OWN FIND POEM:
    In Large Cities
-In a place where the buildings are touching the sky
    It’s hard to see stars.
-a far distance, the faint stars are lost
    A fountain spreads
-the sound of water is heard
    like a white flower
-Trickling down like the cold snowy days

    around us.
-near to what is close to the discovery
    above the shifting traffic
    -up above the roaring vehicles

    illuminated doorways
    -a light is spotted
    there are stars
-soon to find a family of stars winking back upon the cities

    Collide by Howdy Day
    (Original lyrics)

    Im open, you’re closed
    where I follow you’ll go
    I worry I won’t see your face
    light up again
Even the best fall down sometimes
Even the wrong words seem to rhyme
Out of the doubt that fills my mind
I somehow find, you and I collide

(Original Lyrics with my own find poem)
    Im open, you’re closed
    -Insecure about opening up
    where I follow you’ll go
-I don’t know what path to take
    I worry I won’t see your face
-this may be the last time
    light up again
    -there isn’t a spark anymore
Even the best fall down sometimes
-it all comes down to an end
Even the wrong words seem to rhyme
-sometimes it turns out to be okay
Out of the doubt that fills my mind
-there is no need to overthink
I somehow find, you and I collide
-for we may still find a connection

Grieving (feat. James Blake) by Kehlani

Asking for space, I’d give my leg for it
I’ve reached a point, it’s like I beg for it
I give my seat and tears, damn, I bled for it
No one would bet that you would lose me like that
No one would guess I had the strength to fall back
Now all I want is peace and quiet
    For Piece of mind, yeah
    Need some time yeah, yeah

    My “Found” Poem

I’m in such need for space, I’ll do anything for it
I’m reaching my breaking point and I’m begging that you give me what I need
I’ve given you everything I can give
No one thought this would happen
Or that I would be strong enough for this
All I want now is peace
I need to get myself and my thoughts together
I need time alone to grieve.

Song: Crown The Empire – Millennia (Acoustic)

    Original lyrics:
I’ve been gone from this world for what seems like millennia,
Looking for nothing short of a miracle.
I only ever wanted to come home.
Please won’t you let me go?
When I have nowhere left I can run away
Will you lie to me, tell me I’ll be okay?
Close my eyes and lay me in my tomb.
Then pull the trigger and send me home.

Original lyrics with my own poem:
I’ve been gone from this world for what seems like millennia,
-The days seem to fuse and feel bleak.
Looking for nothing short of a miracle.
-Will we ever find a cure?
I only ever wanted to come home.
-Staying home has become my vice.
Please won’t you let me go?
-Being home I can no longer endure.
When I have nowhere left I can run away
-The world blocks off and becomes strict.
Will you lie to me, tell me I’ll be okay?
-Wondering what comes next is harder to predict.
Close my eyes and lay me in my tomb.
-Just give us any ounce of hope.
Then pull the trigger and send me home.
    -Anything to help us cope.

    My Found Poem:
The days seem to fuse and feel bleak.
Will we ever find a cure?
Staying home has become my vice.
Being home I can no longer endure.

    My Version

During the hard times, the burden you carry can be hard
It is such a heavy burden for one person alone
That when it is gone you can’t feel the difference
When it’s gone you don’t even know what to do with yourself
After all, the burdens are gone and your load is lifted

As you start to realize the burden is gone
All the trials and tribulations are coming to an end
And then you meet the last threshold
Stay strong and keep your head up
When you think you can’t go on any long
Remember that it is only temporary
And the good times were about a footstep away

    Rainbow(ORIGINAL)
    By: Kacey Musgraves

    When it rains, it pours
    But you didn’t even notice
    It ain’t rainin’ anymore
It’s hard to breathe when all you know is
The struggle of stayin’ above the risin’ water line

Well, the sky has finally opened
The rain and wind stopped blowin’
But you’re stuck out in the same ol’ storm again
You hold tight to your umbrella
Well, darlin’, I’m just tryin’ to tell ya
That there’s always been a rainbow
    Hangin’ over your head

Phil Collins – You’ll be in my heart

    Original lyrics:
When destiny calls you, you must be strong
I may not be with you, but you’ve got to hold on.
    They’ll see in time
    I know
    We’ll show them together
Cause you’ll be in my heart
Believe me you’ll be in my heart
(I’ll be there) from this day on

    My Found Poem:
You have to fight and don’t give up on anything.
Don’t ever give up and keep trying to go
You will see and always keep going
You know you can do it
We’re in this together and we will win
You are always in my heart
Don’t ever forget that we’re always a team
I will always be there forever

    All Star – Smash Mouth

Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me
I ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed
She was looking kind of dumb with her finger and her thumb
In the shape of an “L” on her forehead
Well, the years start coming and they don’t stop coming
Fed to the rules and I hit the ground running
Didn’t make sense not to live for fun
Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb

    My “found” Poem

    – The world plays trick on you.
    – I’m not that smartest one here.
    – What’s that on your forehead?
    – Oh, you’re a loser.
    – Years go by fast.
    – Tired of the rules so I’m gonna avoid them.
    – What is life if it’s not fun?
    – You get smarter but you also get dull.

Juice WLRD & Marshmello – Come & Go

I try to be everything that I can
-Everyday is a day I try to improve
But sometimes, I come out as bein’ nothin’
-It never works out as planned
I try to be everything that I can
-Failure is a sign to move
But sometimes, I come out as bein’ nothin’
    -Onto the steps of success
I pray to God that he make me a better man
-Today I won’t be a perfect version of myself
Maybe one day, I’ma stand for somethin’
-I’ll put yesterday behind on the shelf
I’m thankin’ God that he made you part of the plan
-The future holds something valuable that I don’t know
I guess I ain’t go through all that Hell for nothin’
-And for that reason alone, I will continue to grow

Bad Day by Daniel Powter (Original lyrics)

    You had a bad day
    You’re taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
    You say you don’t know
    You tell me, “don’t lie”
You work at a smile, and you go for a ride
    You had a bad day
    The camera don’t lie

(Original lyrics with my own poem)

    You had a bad day
-A bad day does not last forever
    You’re taking one down
    -How many more?
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
    -Always trust the process
    You say you don’t know
-Never forget the reason why you started
    You tell me, “don’t lie”
-Do you think you are alone?
You work at a smile, and you go for a ride
    -You must keep going
    You had a bad day
-A bad day that is about to end
    The camera don’t lie
    -Never run away

    My Found Poem:
    Enjoy the Journey

A bad day does not last forever
    How many more?
    Always trust the process
Never forget the reason why you started
Do you think that you are alone?
    You must keep going
A bad day that is about to end
    Never run away

Pray For Me – The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar

I’m always ready for a war again
    Go down that road again
    It’s all the same
I’m always ready to take a life again
    Who gon’ pray for me?
    Take my pain for me?
    Save my soul for me?
    ‘Cause I’m alone, you see

    My poem

    My gun is reloaded
I’m waiting for the old enemy to come back
I’m well prepared all the time
    I’m not afraid of failures
Don’t need anyone to pray for me,
because no one knows the pain of me
My soul is like a broken mirror,
but I can see the victory reflected on all the pieces

    Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis,
When I was dead broke, man, I couldn’t picture this.
    50-inch screen, money-green leather sofa,
Got two rides, a limousine with a chauffeur.
Phone bill about 2 G’s flat,
No need to worry, my accountant handles that.
And my whole crew is lounging,
Celebratin’ every day no more public housing.

    My Found Poem

I was lucky to have just one.
It’s hard to imagine what you can’t have,
Such a great feeling when you can afford the nicer things.
Why stop at two when you can get three?
It’s nothing if you’ve got the means.
    What’s 2 grand?
You don’t have to worry anymore.
    You finally made it out.
