    Good answers, Jose.

It seems none of my students have ever read a play!

We will read essays, short stories, book and movie reviews and the novel you select for your research paper.

    Malkut,

Wow. That’s a long list of prefixes!

As for your reply “theater/playwrights,” I think you mean plays.

Can anyone in the class list some plays you have read in school?

These plays should be italicized, like Death of a Salesman.

    Thanks, Alexander.

Dramas are another word for plays.

Very nice answers. You did not need the comma next to “or” because you are connecting two things, not two clauses.

Do you know the titles of any short stories?

Impressive list, Obrien, but some are suffixes (at the ends of words).

A short story is a work of fiction, but not to be called a short novel. Plays are another literary genre.

    Tatiana,

Some of your “co-” words might need hyphens.

We won’t read any plays in this course. yet that is a major genre of literature.

    Jaheim,

That is a classic play you mentioned. Have you seen the Marlon Brando movie of it?
