    Name of the photographer Michael Kenna. The photo was taken in 2010 and this building is located at 881 seventh avenue, New York city, near central park. The intention of the photographer is capturing the carnegie Hall it shows the building itself and it shows how everything else is not playing the the main role step for the carnegie hall. Also carnegie hall is a leading venues for classical and popular music in the world. This photograph shows how important it the building and it plays an important role in eople life around the world. I think the purpose of the image to show how a building could relate to you in your daily life in a positive away. The composition, and the concept it communicate with the viewer right away. Also this photo tells a story about music. When you look at the image it grab your attention right away. The image itself look very powerful and strong. The photograph it gives a very strong and positive, motivating, peaceful and an lighting feeling. Also it gives a strong feeling about being there this photograph draw you into it. It gives a strong sense of lighting and brightness, contrast and it changes the mood. It makes the photograph look more grand.
    The three formal element that describe this photograph are fill the frame, symmetry, and Figure to ground. These three element makes the photograph a great photograph. It also how a photograph could be used more than one element or it doesn’t always have a specific element. Overall this photograph is symmetrical because the building it center in the middle. It fill the frame it has a background to the image. And I think it work as figure to ground because you see the building as a figure. This photograph is black and white and it has high contrast.
