I was very fortunate to land an internship at my current job. I work for a non profit organization and we produce monthly magazines, books, posters, audio books, podcasts, videos and more productional materials for AA members. I work part time as production assistant and I decided that the best place for me to do this and where I want to do it is in this company. I have been working from home for the past few months so I texted my boss one morning and ask him if he could give me a call when it was convenient to him.
My boss’s name is Jonathan Saltos, he is the production manager for AA grapevine. He called me that same afternoon. I reminded him that I graduate this semester and I was wondering if he could please allow me to do my 120 hours internship, I explained to him that I can do some design work or promotional material and he said yes absolutely and that he had a lot of things for me to work on. He just asked me what if I needed anything from him and I told him that he needed to fill out a form, I emailed him the form and he got back to me with the complete form a few days later. I am very excited to start working on this internship.
