During the making of Project #6, I was pretty confident in getting the shades right from the get-go. I am familiar with color theory so mixing colors together personally was the easiest part. The hard part was actually painting. I’m still a beginner so it doesn’t look the best. I will definitely incorporate using tape into my future works. I find that it makes painting more easier and keeps it neat and professional. Another error I had was understanding how complimentary colors on the color wheel actually worked. It was a miscommunication error that I now understand. It was a fun activity seeing how the complimentary colors turn into a mushy earthy color when mixed together. I’ve never actually tested it out for myself and didn’t even know that happens, I just knew that complimentary colors worked well together. One last thing was making sure that the paint doesn’t override the specific measurements, in some places It sneaked through and you can see that not all measurements are exact. Which brings back my point to using tape for perfect specific measurements.
