In this project I chose a photo that I took at Venice Beach, California in November of 2021. I really liked this project as I had never done anything like this before and it was something new for me. I feel that this image was difficult because as the picture continues to develop downwards, there were greater details that I tried to capture. When painting I tried my best to make each shade distinct so that it could come out clear. With this project I learned new skills like the photoshop process and tracing. I also learned more about the gray-scale and how to use it. I am happy with how this turned out and looking forward to learning new things in future projects.
