The 2nd networking event I attended was a anime event called anime NYC. I meet a ton of artist that use many different mediums for their art. such as figures, plush dolls, pillows, and etc. It was interesting seeing these compared to the normal printed pieces. As I always do I mainly ask artists for their approach on their art. I followed most if not all of the artist I met on twitter.

It’s always interesting to me to see how they go about their art. Some of them even have tutorials or drawing videos up on their channels. So I was able to learn a lot from this. A lot of the art is either original, or based on anime’s and video games. I hope to someday have art good enough to sell at conventions.
