This is my first opportunity to work in a design team outside of the classroom, I don’t know what to expect. Most of the tasks is very similar to the tasks I did in class. I think these tasks are very effective to test the knowledge of the design interns of their skills on the software and as well as their design style and concept development. The challenge I faced today is finding the correct font for the replica, but I did the best I can to match up the exact typography, need a lot of attention to detail. Everyone here are very friendly and it made the training very fun, but still professional. I’m looking forward to the rest of the training.
Natalie,
You did great for your first day of training. You dove right in to the work and you weren’t afraid to ask questions which are great characteristics while working with the team. It is always key to keep an eye on detail. We are the designers and the copywriters. Providing clients with great work is what we strive to do. Glad to acknowledge that you and Philip both provide great advice with each other as well as with us.
Natalie,
You did a good job on your first day of training. You showed a great amount of interest for the projects you were given. Your determination to correctly replicate the original poster is a good skill to have especially when it comes to accurately designing graphics for a client. It is part of our job to make sure we are correctly communicating what the event is about or for.
