Attendance
All students will be attending this course in person. You will need to sign in at the beginning of class. If you are late and missed role please let the professor know after class who you are. Other wise you will be consider as non attendance for your OSHA card certification hours.
Reflections
A reflection is a thoughtful, and in depth response, and/or comment on our weekly topical assignment. In order to get credit participate in the reflections for each topic on Open Lab.
Instructor presence
I will Blackboard for completed assignments twice a week. Please feel free to make an appointment for a face to face meeting if you need support in understanding the course content or online navigation instruction I will post course announcements at least once a week, and more if something interesting or important comes up.
Netiquette
When posting comments online, you are expected to observe the same behavior that you would in a normal classroom. Bullying, talking down to others, and foul language will not be permitted. You must use correct capitalization and punctuation. All caps posts and posts using text slang or emoji will have points deducted.
Online assistance
If you have trouble with your CityTech email, Blackboard, ePortfolios, or any other online component of the course, please seek assistance immediately. You must have access to these resources and be able to use them in order to succeed in this and other courses.
