As a group, we researched solar panels and found that while they produce energy that does not pollute the air, the process, and materials used to make the panels are actually harmful to the environment. With a little research, we were able to come up with solutions, like replacing harmful materials with more environmentally friendly ones, investing in equipment that can help dispose of waste properly, and even possibly asking the government to fund a group that can help monitor and find alternatives to the harmful materials used to produce solar panels.
