This project was about color specifying in monochrome. A mono- chrome color represents a painting or drawing, drawn with dif- ferent shades of a single color in Graphic Design principles. Our objective was to use the monochromatic element to portray an a distinguishing art using one color.

Undergoing this project, challenges I encountered doing mono- chromatic was choosing a color that best fit my mood. Picking/ finding shades out of magazine articles was also a major challenge because I was complying images to help portray my thought pro- cess. The hierarchy on how I wanted to display my colors(light to dark or dark to light) lastly another challenge.

The completion of this project has taught me that how to make an image using only shades of one color. I learned how many shades of one color actually exist, the limitations of monochrome is endless. Organizing my work on a page was a major lesson taught, arranging color shades in a coherent manner was a good.
