While working on this project I settled on two words to work with, that being ‘Success’ and ‘Stress’. Both coming from the same mind map that we first worked on for the beginning of the project. This project has helped me learned a bit about my own emotion when illustrating and sketching. When sketching for the word ‘Stress’ I became stressed out drawing my interpretation of what stress should be visualized as. I’m not saying it as if it were a bad thing, in fact, it made me feel more connected with my sketches leading to me being able to draw without having to pause a lot to gather my thoughts. This project has helped me illustrate the terms without having color and without having such an obvious context towards the word but enough context to give the viewer an understanding of what was going on through the illustrators design.
