In this project I was able to learn about values in both painting and photos. I think being able to do this project helped me understand the value of a color refers to how light or dark it is. If you photographed your picture in black and white, the shades of grey would be the different values or tones inside the painting. Overall I think this project is fun for anyone trying to understand a value portrait.
