Design Challenges – Required Assignment
Weekly design exercises to support development of  projects being created.
You will upload a jpg(s) of your work.

Design Challenge

1. Get found material printed out or print ANY text out

compose six 4×6″ a compositions. use  white paper or cropping L to frame your work

materials: 
Make a cropping L out of cardboard or black or white paper/board 
ANYTHING that is printed material can be used

2. Photograph and upload to a drive

3. Create an Indesign document 11x 8.5 inches

create a master page with

.5 in margins

place two 4×6 picture boxes on page

insert at least three pages

your name top left and text “Kurt Schwiters Type Challenge in 12 pt sanserif bold

4. export as PDF upload

Iconic products are combined with unpleasant forms (guns, pills, bombs, sharks), creating a commentary on the grimmer side of capitalism. The designer translated these graphic icons into graffiti stencils.
