Revamped Quote Projected
I truly enjoy the old classical theme i choose for this version of my quote project because the type i choose was a medieval typography complimenting the scroll with a samurai warrior in the background giving an unparalleled feel of strength and honor. Fostering these elements i realized i had to play with the movement of where i was going to put the type and i decided to place were it wouldn’t take away from the samurai but i also wanted the audience to see the quote first then the samurai then lastly appreciating the scroll layout.
I went with an arrow because it is a perfect representation of me and it alludes to my culture and my upbringings on what my family as taught me over time. With it’s pristine sharpe point and powerful yet vibrant colors truly reinforcing my quote with a feather touch at the end allowing it to fly through skies.The typography use here was a sketch medieval organically complimenting the arrow.

Inspired by the film The Gladiator I choose this quote “Strength and Honor” Directed by Ridley ScottIt staring Russell Crowe as Maximus Decimus Meridius, who is betrayed when Commodus, the ambitious son of Emperor Marcus Aurelius, murders his father and seizes the throne. Reduced to slavery, Maximus rises through the ranks of the gladiatorial arena to avenge the murders of his family and his emperor. Through extreme obstacle’s in one’s life this quote here keeps me going and i hope whom ever reads this quote can keep fighting the good fight and not give up. With a bold yellow out line and a solid black inside with another type of medieval typography i give this image.
