Herbet Bayer’s article discusses the importance of typography for the Bauhaus in his article “On Typography” which shows balance and clarity between white paper and the ink. He discusses the artist’s transformation to technology and the use of typography as a tool for mass manufacturing. He also questions society’s value placed on typography.

Maholy-Nagy, the author of “Typophoto”, imagined a world in which all kinds of communication collided to make the most realistic form of communication. Typophoto is one of his works which is a combination of typography and photography capable of conveying better than each can individually.

I personally found Nagy’s “Typophoto” very interesting. It teaches us a different technique of art. Also inspires us to try things differently to become creative.
