I chose this side profile photo because the short light contours his face nicely a his eyes focus straight ahead and the light gently touches pieces of his clothing as well while the shadows are extremely dark. The background also creates a beautiful gradient
I like this profile shot too but it is not an example of short light. To have either short or broad light the model’s head must be in a 3/4 view.
