Purple comes from the mix of blue and red together. It’s often associated with royalty, nobility, luxury, power, and ambition, also represents meanings of wealth, extravagance, creativity, wisdom, dignity, grandeur, devotion, peace, pride, mystery, independence, and magic. It originated from the Phoenician trading city of Tyre, which is now known as Lebanon. Purple came from a species of sea snails known as Bolinus Brandaris which is incredibly rare that it became worth its weight in gold. Since its so difficult to produce biologically it becomes rare in nature.
