Biography of Chantel Joseph
My name is Chantel Joseph. I’m am 18 year old freshman at the New York City College of Technology. I am a creative Trinidadian American who was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 3, 1993. Learning new things is one of my favorite things to do because I believe learning new things can expand your mind with a lot of interesting things. Growing up in New York City, I observed and seen many different styles of creativity and art and I’m really inspired by it. On my spare time I draw, listen to music, read and create random comics and manga clippings. I also love to watch different types of television genres, like classic movies and animated shows (cartoons, anime, etc.) I also love to make observation in the outside world for inspiration.
I use my creativity and artwork to sometimes get away from the outside world. All my life from since I was a little girl, I’ve been told that I am a very unique and creative person and while I was in high school, I always wanted to go to college and major in a creative field that involves drawing, creating pieces and just having fun with it and showing it off. This is one of the reasons to why I came to city tech to get a good start and learn more about the advanced computer art I didn’t really knew exist. I took the opportunity after i graduated out of high school in 2011 to further my education in the creative arts. One day I would love to become a creative director or a professional animator in the animation or design field.
