Welcome to my e-Portfolio! My name is Caroline Bibula and I’m currently in my final year at the New York City College of Technology Dental Hygiene Program. As a student in this program, I assess patients for oral cancers and diseases like Gingivitis and Periodontitis. My responsibilities include thorough scaling, preventive care, and providing guidance on oral hygiene to improve patients’ oral health. I’m eager to start the next phase of my professional journey, utilizing my expertise and enthusiasm to positively impact the lives of others.
I have always been interested in the field of dentistry, but it wasn’t until I started my first job that I genuinely knew this was my true calling. My journey began with me working as a dental receptionist. It wasn’t long before I fell in love with the idea of this becoming my career. I knew I had to expand my learning in the field of dentistry by gaining more hands-on experience. After only a few months working I was quickly promoted to be the Head Dental Assistant and subsequently, I transitioned into the position of Office Manager.
I’m excited to reach the milestone of becoming a Dental Hygienist. This has been an amazing journey filled with dedication, growth, and rewarding experiences. Though the journey was challenging, the rewards make every effort worthwhile.
