Openlab is an educational platform created for City Tech students, it consists of several segments used for academic success. It is utilized as a place to learn, work, and share. Students can join courses to meet class requirements such as homework submission and discussions with classmates. Students may also use OpenLab as a tool to communicate with groups or clubs. Blogging is a tool used frequently to share stories or overall portfolios for (COMD) students. Eportfolios have helped students maintain their work well organized as well as a professional portfolio for their student work.
In this internship, our tasks mainly focused on rebranding The Buzz which is a platform that was created with the intention of blogging posts about school topics or overall any topic. The pandemic caused The Buzz a lack of presence therefore this group of interns are now tasked to rebrand The Buzz as new beginnings. While also pointing out on Eportfolios and increasing the usage of an eportfolio on openlab.
