After the first weeks of research and meetings with my team, we were able to finalize roles. I was in charge of rebranding one of the Openlabs Project websites called the Buzz. My role consisted of creating a new logo and frames for the website’s overall look and feel. At first, I was letting myself be guided by the school’s colors and mascot, but I eventually changed directions in sticking with the open lab’s colors and simplifying the shape into a more modern abstract Bee. While I was working on that my teammates were working on setting up categories for the website homepage and creating a booklet as a start up to opening your portfolio.
