Part of Speech: Verb
Meaning: to move or behave in an agitated or confused manner.

I encountered this word while reading jennifer egan where she says she often use to stay flustered. Now that i know what fluster means I think that she meant she was always confused while reading the letters.
Please provide at least one passage from “Reading Lucy” that includes your glossary word so that you can then offer a clearer explanation of the word in context. I don’t get a clear sense–nor will other readers–of how Egan is using the word, or how to understand the word in its context.
