The song that I chose for my project is “Aruarian Dance” and it is a calm and flowy song that is very serene and catchy. There is no lyrics to the song and I was relying on the tune and instruments to guide me to which pattern worked best. I was intrigued by the same three cords of a guitar that always played on repeat so I made them the primary subject with the two outer lines being thicker to represent a lower pitch and the thiner being a higher pitch. Another instrument would be the trumpet in the song so I added an oval with lines and dots around it to represent the sound of one. To me the song felt very peaceful and balanced while it also had its moments of chaos so I wanted to create a piece where there was a balance of harmony and clutter to better represent the song.
