Hi Meleny, love your sketches. I would say for animals, hone in on one animal. That way when we look at the simple and ambiguous versions we can better understand what the word is. I will say most of the animal ones are very clear foreground/background, expect for the dog/cat sketch. Try to explore more sketches that it’s not clear.
Masks are a very cool subject. Again though a lot of these there’s a clear foreground/background and object/background. Look at some more of the previous student work to see examples.
